Block submission latency

Each new Mainnet block is submitted to all three nodes concurrently via submitblock. Latency is the RPC round trip of each node's first attempt; speed-ups and savings are medians over the same blocks. Figures cover the last 24 hours unless marked otherwise. Quiet-host figures use only blocks dispatched outside recorded host-load intervals (±30 s).

Points are individual blocks; lines are rolling medians over 15 blocks. Shading marks recorded host load.

Method

A Zebra feeder follows Mainnet over P2P and dispatches each new block to the three nodes. The nodes run without peers and with empty mempools, so latency is dominated by block validation and commit. All four nodes share one host with other workloads; recorded host load is shaded and excluded from the quiet-host figures.
